We are the Masonic Brethren of Graham Lodge No. 20 A.F. & A.M. Our lodge has been in continuous operation for over 178 years. We are open to visitors on the first Thursday of every month with dinner starting at 6 PM and meetings at 7 PM (for Masons). Visitors interested in joining Freemasonry and the lodge are welcome to stop by for dinner and a tour.
Who We Are
Masonry is a brotherhood of men who strive to make their lives an example of character and integrity by improving ourselves and serving others.
Freemasonry is the world’s oldest and largest Fraternity. It is comprised of adult men of good character from every country, religion, race, age, income, education and opinion, who believe in a Supreme Being. Its body of knowledge and system of ethics is based on the belief that each man has a responsibility to improve himself while being devoted to his family, faith, country, and fraternity.
The men who established Brenham, Graham Lodge, Washington County, and Texas itself were good and true, and men of the highest caliber.
The foundation of Freemasonry was built on this moral character and guided the lives of the men who practiced the work.
It is a testimony to the moral nature of Freemasonry and its importance to its members that early Texans considered it significant enough to risk personal liberty and sacrifice their time as well as their property to ensure its growth in the new Republic.
