Tidings From the East

I would like to thank W. Bro.’s Herb Carr and Steve Melnick for stepping up and filling in for officers that were unable to attend in April. Support and participation from our Past Masters means a great deal to the Lodge.

This month will be busy and exciting. On May 8th we will be hosting Aurora Chapter DeMolay, who will exemplify the Flower Speech in honor of Mother’s Day which is the following weekend. We will have a stated communication after the presentation.

On May 22nd we will hold Public Schools Night to present Rifkin and Band Camp Scholarships, and to recognize the importance of public education in Masonry. Our dynamic guest speaker will be W. Bro. Gene Hardy, chairman of the Colorado Masons Benevolent Fund. This is an OPEN PROGRAM for family and guests. Please adjust your calendars to come support the Lodge and our youth, some we hope may become Masons in the near future.

Our calendar will wrap up with an Entered Apprentice degree for two candidates on June 12th before we go dark for the summer.

I am also happy to report we will be meeting socially will and resume our weekly luncheon for brethren and family at the Monaco Inn restaurant. I am working on the details. If you have any suggestions please contact me personally, I hope to see everyone at lodge for our upcoming events. If you need a ride please do not hesitate to reach out.

Fraternally,
Brandon A. Whittier
Worshipful Master
